Tanzania is of the most incredible places in all of Africa. When it comes to game drives and wildlife viewing, there is no beating the Serengeti Plain and the Ngorongoro Crater- period. They ARE Africa, straight out of National Geographic or the Discovery Channel. Massive herds of wildebeest and zebra, spread out as far as the eye can see; families of elephants grazing along riverbeds and streams; groups of giraffes galloping across the plains; prides of lions lolling in the shade; a leopard snoozing in a tree. If you are in Africa to see the wildlife, it doesn’t get any better than that.
