Namibia is often overlooked when one considers planning a trip to Africa. In all honesty, I viewed my time in Namibia as an added ‘bonus’ to the rest of my trip through the continent. Now, after the time I spent there, I realize that Namibia has as much to offer as any country in Africa, if not more- Sand boarding and 4x4ing on the world’s largest sand dunes, Africa’s version of the Grand Canyon; unique and delicate ecosystems found nowhere else in the world; adrenaline-fueled adventure towns all along the Skeleton Coast; world-class game parks on par with the Serengeti and the Maasai Mara- Namibia has all of this, and more.
