Perú is a backpacker’s haven in South America- there are countless adventures to be had around every corner. High Andean mountains, incredible alpine lakes, and some of the best singletrack mountain biking in all of South America, combined with world-class hiking, delicious food, and the MUST SEE citadel of Machu Picchu… Perú was one of my favorites while traveling through South America.
